All I can say is I'm finally here! Working at Mixx 96.1 has been a work in progress for many years. The first time I was offered a position, my two month old baby had just come home from the hospital after heart surgery - no way was I leaving her! The second time, she just started school. Again, no way! Now, my beautiful Hannah is 10 years old, completely healthy and in 4th grade.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, after high school I couldn't wait to get the heck out of dodge. I’ve moved 96 times in my life (and we weren't a military family). Mostly around Las Vegas but I've lived in Kansas, California, Boston, Ohio, and in 1995 I moved to Washington. I love it here!!!

I met my husband John shortly after moving here during a ski trip in Whistler, B.C.. Love at first sight? Yes it was. With John by my side, we go rock climbing, camping, backpacking, white-water rafting, snow and water skiing, golfing, running, and recently zip lining! We really love to enjoy life in our beautiful state. Now of course, Hannah is right there doing everything with us. Our platinum Golden Retriever, Marleigh, also goes everywhere with us. (Max and Coda cats, we love them but they don’t travel well.)

I was in "business" all of my life until I decided it was time to follow my dreams and give radio a try. I did a brief stint at Green River C.C. in the radio lab and landed a few part-time jobs on the air. I ended up working at KMPS in Seattle where I spent 12 years. Part time worked wonderfully for my family - I could be mom to Hannah all the time. Hannah and I are now both ready for mommy to have a life of her own so here I am!
